nyx.instrument.aperture_table.tabulated_bandpass(wvls, transmission)

Build an instrument bandpass callable from a tabulated curve.

Parameters:

• wvls (array-like, shape (n,)) – Sample wavelengths in nm, or a Quantity, strictly increasing.

• transmission (array-like, shape (n,)) – Effective aperture times transmission at each sample, in m^2.

Returns:

wvls -> bandpass, linearly interpolated between samples and zero outside the tabulated range.

Return type:

callable

Raises:

ValueError – If fewer than two samples are given.
