Safe atmospheric gradation function for single scattering.

Parameters:

  • tau (jax.Array) – Total optical depth of the layer.

  • sec_zenith_los (jax.Array) – Secant of the zenith angle along the line of sight.

  • sec_zenith_source (jax.Array) – Secant of the zenith angle towards the illuminating source.

Returns:

Broadcast over the two secants.
